Mario's is a small local restaurant in Mahopac, but the food would stand out on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The pizza crust is thin and crispy and the toppings are first rate. I also recommend the baked clams and wood fired wings, both amazing.

I hired Mario for my daughters graduation party. Pizza was delicious! All the guests loved it and raved about it. Mario and his team worked very hard even though it was a hot and humid day.

Just one word: WOW! This was my first time visiting Mario's Pizza, and my only regret is that I hadn't tried it sooner! Hand down, best pizza in Mahopac! I'm a city gal, and transplant to the suburbs, and if I didn't know any better, I would swear that I was having Brooklyn pizza! I ordered a personal pie with pepperoni. Everything from the crust, to the sauce, and the cheese, was just delicious. It was great watching Mario make out pizza from scratch, and we felt like appreciated customers. I am looking forward to returning. This will totally be my one and only pizza place.

Hope for good pizza in Putnam county is not lost! Mario's is fantastic I'm just disappointed I didn't try it earlier. I really consider it the best in the county. Wood fired for nice crispy crust with awesome sauce.

Mario has amazing Italian food and has never let us down. I have used Mario many times in the past for parties and events. Last week Mario went all out and did a great job again, cooking great food for our annual company Christmas party. He is consistently great! Thank you, Joe Marconi Osceola Garage
